Our origins.
We are Life Health Foods and as our name suggests, we are a business that passionately creates innovate plant-based food & beverages in a way that is good for people and our planet.
While soymilk was still fairly new to India a business called Prosoya entered the market with soy milk and became one of the leading manufacturers in India. Life Health Foods India was created in 2009 and took over this business. Life Health Foods India has seen great growth since then and is currently second in the plant based milks category with our Soy Milky Range.
Life Health Foods India launched Almond Fresh – a premium almond milk – in 2015. As the first to market we have seen amazing growth and we are the leading almond milk producer in India.
In 2018 we launched the So Good brand and with it our new So Good Protein + Soy beverage. We also rebranded our premium almond milk to be So Good Almond, with multiple flavours and pack formats across our range there is something for everyone.

We live these values through the approach we take to our work and how we work together. As a team we undertake a variety of health and wellbeing initiatives throughout the year, including health checks, flu vaccines, charity fundraising and community volunteer projects. We support a variety of charity partners as well as community groups throughout the country.

We’re dedicated to genuinely making a positive, meaningful difference to the wellbeing of the communities we serve and work with. Our team of more than 150 staff comes from all sectors of the community and includes a diverse mix of backgrounds. Over 20 nationalities and cultures are represented, speaking more than 35 languages! Our sustainability journey.
We are dedicated to protecting the environment for future generations, so here at Life Health Foods we are constantly working towards making our sourcing, production and work practises more sustainable.
The environmental impact of plant-based vs meat eating has been studied for many years and shows that plant-based food & beverage production typically requires significantly less water, less land and produces less carbon gases than animal based production. With our global population rising and demand for protein increasing, driving forward new, sustainable ways of creating our favourite foods and beverages is essential.
Sustainability is a journey and continue to work on improvements to our business impact. We have an active focus on reduction in waste, single use plastics, as well as efficient water and gas use. We appreciate the support of our customers and business partners as we continue to make this a priority.
We continue to build on strong links within the community and have a number of community based programmes and partnerships in areas such as education, reduction in food waste and re-distribution of food to those in need.
